Ruby’s Counter + Ruby’s Sauce Co.

Logo design & development, Illustration, Visual Brand Identity Guidelines, and Packaging

Ruby’s Counter, inspired by the owner’s late relative and homestyle cook “Ruby”, is a 50’s retro-style diner that offers a cozy atmosphere and quick counter-style service, a drive-thru, and a grab-and-go breakfast and lunch. They also make and sell their sauces and jams under the title: Ruby’s Sauce Company, which creates unique flavours to enhance the taste and fun of anything you add it to. Both a product of Ship to Shore in Kensington, PEI

Ashe, Lewis, and I had way too much fun (if you couldn’t already tell) creating this fun and colourful visual identity. Using vintage 50’s diner signs, fonts, colours, and illustrations as the inspiration, and giving “Ruby’s” legacy and memory new light, it all came together as a fun, dynamic, and flavourful creation.

My role in this team project was creating the illustrations, and helping develop the designs for both logos and package design for the product labels.
